Loreto in Kosmonosy

The Loreto pilgrimage place, an architectonic jewel of Kosmonosy, originated at the beginning of the 18th century according to the design of the Italian architect G. Alliprandi. The model of the Holy Hut was a similar building in the Italian town Loreto. The walls of the hut are decorated by reliefs from the life of the Virgin Mary and in the recesses the sculptures of the prophets are located.
