The oldest castle of Český ráj (the Bohemian Paradise) and the cradle of the family of Wallenstein, situated close to the rock town of Hrubá Skála, is a popular place for trips thanks to the varied fate and romantic arrangements. Of exceptional value is the stone bridge with Baroque sculptures and the chapel of St. John of Nepomuk with the picture of John the Baptist and the alleged portrait of K. H. Mácha.
