Český ráj (Bohemian Paradise)

Castle Trosky

The dominant and symbol of Český ráj (the Bohemian Paradise), the ruin of the mediaeval castle is located on a basalt volcanic neck with two peaks. Situated on the higher peak is the prismatoid tower Panna, on the lower one the pentagonal Baba from which, in good weather, the view opens of Prague, Mladá Boleslav, the Giant Mountains, České středohoří and, first of all, a large part of Český ráj (the Bohemian Paradise).
