Castle Přimda

The castle visible from far is considered, after the Prague Castle, the second oldest stone castle in Bohemia. In the 12th – 14th centuries it belonged among the most significant royal castles and many Czech monarchs tried also the hardship of the local arrest. During the 17th century Přimda dilapidated and gradually changed into a picturesque ruin.
