30. IV. – The Witches – the day composed in historical spirit with evening theatre performance4. VI. – Children's Day at Horní hrad – competitions, games, jousting and entertainment not only for the children
5. -6. VII. – Hornohradské Historic Festivities – drives by coach in the hornohradské valley, music and dance of the period, fencing jousting, school of fencing
8. -16. VII. – Wood-carvers' symposium (the 4th year) – opened workshop of masters wood-carvers, smiths, stone-masons, painters, ceramic-makers, glass-makers and pipe-makers
26. -27. VIII. – Folk Ohře (the 4th year) – musical festival for the lovers of folk
Castle and Chateau Horní hrad – Hauenštejn
The originally mediaeval watch castle, extended and adapted in a grand manner in the middle of the 19th century in the style of English neo-Gothic, was a ruin at the end of the 20th century determined for demolition. Now a sub-regional cultural centre is originating there with a number of possibilities of untraditionally spent leisure time and interesting additional programmes.
