Starý Plzenec

The town is a part of the micro-region Radyně. Apart from the castle ruin of the same name there are remnants there of the Premyslid castle Plzeň of the 10th century, remnants of the foundations of the churches of St. Vavřinec and St. Cross and the Romanesque rotunda of St. Peter, the oldest preserved as a whole architectonic monument in the Czech territory.
