The dominant of the town is the cylindrical skew tower of the Gothic parish church and the square of the unusually elongated form with a number of ancient burghers' houses, preserved here has been also one of the few mediaeval municipal castles in the Czech lands, today the seat of the museum with valuable national history collections. Domažlice is the centre of ethnographically interesting region of Chodsko, every year the folklore Chodské festivities take place there.
