Castle Kašperk
The Gothic watch castle that was founded in 1356 by Charles IVth is the highest situated royal castle in Bohemia (886 m). From the western tower a grand view opens of the forests of Šumava, helping orientation are panoramatic pictures with legends. Installed in the building of the burgrave is a historic exposition reminding of the period of the Luxembourgs.
