2. -10. IX. – Wood-sculpture symposium within the framework of the European tourist festival EURORANDO 2006 – meeting of sculptors who directly in front of the visitors create animals of wood
ZOO Ohrada in Hluboká nad Vltavou
Situated close to the chateau in Hluboká nad Vltavou is the hunting-lodge Ohrada in which the oldest hunting museum in the world is located. Close to it there is a smaller zoological garden, originally oriented at traditional game, since 1972 specialized in the fauna of Šumava and Europe. Bred there are, first of all, small and medium size species of animals many of them are bred only rarely in the other ZOO's.
