Chýnov Cave

The oldest cave of Bohemia made accessible (1868) originated in the varied series of strata where white, yellow and brown marbles take turn with dark layers of amphibolites. These two rocks participated in the origin of the remarkable round formations on the walls, of the so-called eyes. After reconstruction new parts of the underground premises will be opened for the public. The sightseeing lasts 40 minutes.
