Slavonice

The town at the border of South Bohemia, Moravia and Austria lived through the period of top boom in the 16th century. Preserved from that time has been a unique set of late-Gothic and Renaissance houses decorated by articulated gables with letter-shaped graffiti and complicated figural scenes. Accessible is also the historic municipal underground.
