Apart from the Gothic deanery church of the Conversion of the Lord at the Tábor mountain, also the town hall attracts the attention of the visitors with the exposition of the Hussite Museum, the historic underground or the artificial reservoir Jordán of 1492, the oldest one in central Europe, with Renaissance water tower. Remarkable is also the railway line from Tábor to Bechyně that was built, at the beginning of the 20th century, by F. Křižík as the first electrified line of the Austria-Hungary of that time.
