Prácheň Museum in Písek
The museum founded in 1884 documents the history and nature of the region of Písek and the former Region of Prácheň. The expositions are devoted to the history of the castle, town and region, mineral sources, washing gold, natural monuments of the region of Písek and significant personalities. The exposition Fish and Fishery offers a unique show of live creatures and an exhibition of river pearls of local origin.
