Holašovice

The south-Bohemian village inscribed in the UNESCO list of monuments is considered a pearl of peasant Baroque. On the whole twenty-two estates with decorated Baroque gables, gardens and barns are arranged around the pond in the middle of the village. It is there, at the most beautiful Czech village green, in 1975 the film version of Smetana's opera Prodaná nevěsta (The Bartered Bride) was shot.
