Museum of Folk Buildings in Kouřim

The open-air museum originated in 1972 as the rescue museum for buildings from the flood area on the river Želivka. The area is formed by nine larger buildings and several minor objects, outside the common seeing a number of national history programmes is organized there – carnivals, fairs, village feasts, Easter and Christmas programmes and demonstrations of traditional crafts.
