Chateau Veltrusy
In the Baroque chateau that Václav Antonín Chotek had in the first half of the 18th century built, in 1754 the first fair in the world took place. The courtyard of honour is lined by lines of Baroque allegorical sculptures, the interiors are marked by valuable painters' and stucco decoration and the complex is surrounded by an extensive park with romantic buildings.
