Chateau Mělník
The original castle of the Czech princes was re-built later into Renaissance chateau. Apart from the classical sightseeing of the chateau interiors with the valuable picture gallery the visitors are invited to the mediaeval chateau cellars for gustation of wine from the wine-growing of Jiří Lobkowicz. From the chateau terrace there is a beautiful view of the České středohoří and the mountain Říp.
