Chateau Konopiště
The romantic chateau with extensive park, rose garden, glasshouses, orangery and shooting range became, at the end of the 19th century, the seat of the follower to the Austrian throne, František Ferdinand d´Este who re-built Konopiště into a representative imperial seat. A rarity are, first of all, extensive collections of hunting trophies of that time, completed by the armoury of the family d’Este.
