Castle Český Šternberk

The vast castle on the rock extension in the romantic valley of the river Sázava is one of the most valuable monuments of Posázaví. The interiors are equipped with furniture of different styles from Renaissance through Baroque to Empire. Excelling among the quantity of valuable artefacts is a unique collection of graphic sheets of the thirty-year war or artistic objects of Kašpar of Sternberg, the founder of the National Museum in Prague.
