Malostranské Bridge Towers

Leading into the towers at the left bank of the river Vltava is Charles Bridge. The smaller tower is Romanesque, it originates from the 12th century and belonged to the fortification of Judith Bridge. The higher Gothic tower links up by the style to the Staroměstská Bridge Tower and originated in the second half of the 15th century. Installed in the interiors is the permanent exposition about the history of Charles Bridge.
