Petřín Observation Tower

The 60 m high iron tower at the highest hill in the centre of Prague (327 m) was built in 1891 within the framework of the jubilee Prague exhibition as the five times reduced replica of the Parisian Eiffel Tower. Leading to Petřín from Újezd is a cable way, to the top of the observation tower the visitors ascend on 299 stairs.
