Maisel Synagogue

The synagogue was built in 1590-1592 by the primate of the Jewish town Mordechaj Maisel who financed the extensive Renaissance re-building of the ghetto. The three-aisled temple is a part of the Prague Jewish Museum, the exhibition presents the history of the Jews in the territory of Bohemia and Moravia since the beginning of settlement to the emancipation in the 18th century.
