The largest and oldest Czech Museum has its seat in the neo-Renaissance building that forms the dominant of the Wenceslas Square. Apart from the Pantheon of the Czech nation located there are the primeval collections, historic-archaeological, theatre, mineralogical, geological-paleontological and zoological ones. The museum organizes numerous cultural events and exhibitions – e.g. the long-term exhibition Orders and Distinctions of the European Countries of the 19th and 20th centuries.
