The collections are installed in six architectonically significant buildings of Prague. The seat of the Collection of Graphics and Drawing is the Kinský Palace at the Staroměstské Square. Located in the Šternberský Palace at the Hradčanské Square, in the monastery of St. George at the Prague Castle and in the Anežský Nunnery in the Staré Město are the permanent expositions of ancient art, the Veletržní Palace presents the art of the 19th century, modern and current art, in the interiors of the chateau of Zbraslav the visitors will discover the collections of Oriental art. Used for exhibitions is the Riding School of the Prague Castle, the Wallenstein Riding School in the Malá Strana and the house u Černé Matky Boží.
